Daily Camera: Really love the idea of bringing singles together and potentially helping folks find a match during this time of social distancing. What inspired you to offer this service?
Do you have a background in matchmaking? So, I created Love Is Quarantine Boulder, posted in a few online groups to see if there was interest, and got over 30 people to sign up in just a few days. I have a full-time job — currently working from home due to social distancing — as a marketing and communications research analyst in the energy industry.
DC: How are you getting the word out about this venture? Have people already begun to fill out the online forms to participate? I posted in Boulder Facebook groups, singles groups and shared with a few friends. I also created a Facebook page and ran a small ad buy to gain interest.

Throughout their friendship, Goodman and Walsh bonded over their relationship problems.
As explained on their blog Walsh is a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic, who falls into serious relationships too quickly. Goodman likes to play the field, preferring to casually date many women. This sparked the idea for their social experiment to see if the dating myth is true: Can two people with opposite dating styles make it work as a couple? They then created a blog after the experiment and published their journal entries side by side for all 40 days, illustrated in a unique way with graphic design.
This past summer, they released one day of journal entries at a time, creating an online following of their love story. What was the initial conversation that sparked this whole concept? It was in the morning and we were waiting in line to get breakfast. Jessica was talking about some guy who had just left her, a guy she had only been dating for a month, and I was kinda feeling weird that I was dating a couple girls at once [laughs].
